Thousands of enthusiasts of the popular Citizen TV program, Maria jammed several streets within kilifi county to meet their favourite actors and actresses during a road show this afternoon.
Business came to a stand still as locals came out to catch a glimpse and interact with their favourite tv stars. The team on their second day of the tour of the coast region also visited a number of tourist destination in watamu and Malindi in a bid to boost local tourism at the coast that has taken a hit because of the Covid 19 pandemic. Tomorrow the Maria team will head to the South coast.
